We are currently seeking an Independent Living Advisor to join our team in Frome, Somerset on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to enhancing the independence, wellbeing, and quality of life of older people. 28 hours a week working Monday - Friday. Hours to be discussed at interview. Reporting to the Independent Living Manager, you will play a key role in delivering effective housing management across our sheltered schemes. This will include building positive relationships with residents, supporting prospective tenants through viewings and the moving-in process, and ensuring residents fully understand their tenancy agreements, rights, and responsibilities. You will also provide guidance to residents around accessing financial support, including housing-related benefits, and signpost or refer them to relevant services such as assistive technology, adaptations, or additional support where required. As part of your day-to-day duties, you will carry out scheme inspections, oversee health and safety compliance, and monitor contractor performance to ensure services are delivered to a high standard.
