Title: Assistant Director of Operations Department: Artemis House Region I: Reports to: Director of Artemis House Region I FLSA Status: Exempt: Salary Range: $64,000 to $69,000: About Shelter House: Shelter House was founded in 1981 as a grassroots response to homelessness in Fairfax County and has grown into a respected nonprofit serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness and domestic violence. Our team works with government agencies, community organizations, and private partners to deliver services rooted in dignity, safety, and long term stability. Each year, Shelter House supports nearly 2,000 individuals, including many children and families. About the Role: You will oversee the daily residential operations at Artemis House Region I and directly supervise residential staff (full time, part time, and on call).
