Department Summary The Department of Art and Art History, established in 1911, offers BA, BFA, MA, and MFA degrees and is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). The Digital Media Art (DMA) program at San José State University offers a digital art and design curriculum in the areas of computer graphics, web development, programming, physical computing, fabrication, prototyping, interactivity, and computer games.
