Job description

We are currently looking for a Global Senior Buyer Raw Materials to integrate our Purchasing Team. MISSION OF THE ROLE: - Define and implement the sourcing strategy for the materials and geographies in scope, in alignment with the Global Commodity Leaders (GCL) where appointed - Negotiate with key suppliers defining the appropriate conditions for maximizing value creation for the Group - Lead and support commodity-related initiatives at regional/local level, in cooperation with the relevant internal stakeholders (GCL, Supply Chain, R&D, Sales, Quality, etc.) ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ensure design and execution of the sourcing strategies and sourcing events in cooperation and alignment with, where appointed, Global Commodity Leaders, local purchasing teams and the other key internal stakeholders - Negotiate contracts and any other agreements with suppliers that are functional to the sourcing strategy in place - Govern the supply base and suppliers’ performance (including service level, quality, risk and compliance monitoring), ensuring the appropriate supplier selection, qualification, development and overall supplier management practices are in place.
