Structures & Payload Design Engineers (Associate or Mid‑Level) (Payload Systems Design) Company: The Boeing Company The Payloads Organization within Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking Structures & Payload Design Engineers (Associate or Mid‑Level) to join the Seats Integration Team (SIT) in Everett or Renton, WA . Seat Engineers manage installation, integration, and certification of passenger seat programs across Boeing aircraft by overseeing supplier seat designs and ensuring customers, regulatory, and Boeing requirements are satisfied. Success in this role requires frequent coordination across Customer Engineering, Payload Configuration, Supplier Management, Seat Suppliers, airline customers, commodity teams, regulatory authorities (including the FAA), and factory personnel. A solid engineering foundation is essential to review and approve supplier technical data, understand certification test requirements, prepare engineering releases supporting seat and systems installations, and author compliance summary reports.
