The Opportunity: We are seeking an energetic and experienced Purchasing Officer to join our team on a 9-month contract, based at our Melbourne office and warehouse in Truganina. Key Responsibilities: - Replenish stock, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods - Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with vendors - Assist with sourcing and procurement activities across product categories - Monitor inventory levels across warehouses and replenish stock to optimal levels - Track and monitor shipments, providing timely updates to relevant stakeholders - Ensure accuracy and completeness of data entry in ERP and related systems Requirements: Skills and Experience: To be successful in this role, you will have: - Formal training in Purchasing, Procurement, Inventory Control, or a related discipline - Proven negotiation skills with suppliers and vendors - Str...
