Job Description Summary MUSC’s Specialty Emergency Department is located in the state-of-the-art Ashley River Tower in downtown Charleston. We utilize 21 private treatment spaces to serve the highly specialized needs of our patients. The defining characteristics of our staff are teamwork and innovation. We work in a fast-paced environment taking care of patients whose acuity is almost double the national average. We specialize in Cardiothoracic Surgery, Left Ventricular Assistive Devices, Chest Pain, Vascular Surgery, Interventional Cardiology, GI Surgery, Hematology/Oncology, and Women’s Services.
