Job description

Position Summary: Diagnoses and treats diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums, and related oral structures for children and teenagers. Examines patients to determine the nature of condition utilizing dental radiographs, dental instruments and other diagnostic procedures. Administers, directs, supervises, and coordinates all clinical aspects of the Dental Department; carries out its objectives in the provision of oral health care, education and outreach while participating in the community health program. Provides direction of dental services to pediatric dental residents and coordinates and works with the Dental Department Management Team. This is a supervisor for Program Attending (under SY Health employment) and Pediatric Dental Residents (under Sponsoring University employment).
