Section 508 Tester (Accessibility Tester)

Job description

The Health & Services Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Section 508 Tester. The customer is primarily located in the Washington DC area but the position is telework . This is an exciting opposition to help shape the future technology roadmap for a large government agency. In this role, the Section 508 Tester will primarily support accessibility compliance efforts by evaluating applications and systems to ensure adherence to Section 508 standards and accessibility guidelines. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: - Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand, gather, and document business requirements. - Application Design & Development: Design, configure, and build Pega applications, including case management, workflows, user interfaces, and business logic using Pega tools (App Studio, Dev Studio). - System Integration: Implement integration points with databases, web services (REST/SOAP), and legacy systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality. - Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform unit and integration testing, debug applications, and support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) t...
