Winpak Portion Packaging is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join the Maintenance team based out of Sauk Village, IL on Day shift. In this hands-on role, you will help keep production equipment, support systems, and the facility running safely and efficiently. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting mechanical issues, completing repairs, supporting changeovers, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where reliability and safety matter every day. Key Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including pneumatic, mechanical, and basic electrical components. - Replace or repair parts such as bearings, belts, pulleys, chains, fittings, hoses, filters, pumps, motors, switches, guards, and related machine components. - Support tooling work by helping inspect, change, and maintain punches, dies, cavities, plugs, and air cylinders. - Perform preventive maintenance and routine service on chillers, mold cooling units, water systems, air compressors, hydraulic systems, and heating or cooling equipment. - Assist with machine changeovers and confirm gauges and related equipment are working properly before production starts. - Comp...
