SUMMARY -: Pratt Industries has a need for a Mechanical Superintendent as part of the project team for its brand new 100% recycled paper mill in Conyers, GA. The Mechanical Superintendent will supervise the installation, repair, and maintenance of the mechanical equipment and systems SCOPE -: During the project phase, the responsibilities of this position are to assist in overseeing the maintenance group with the paper machine and all its components to ensure production demands. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned) - The Mechanical Superintendent’s primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Assist in selection, evaluation, and installation of capital and expense projects - Work individually or with team members to develop scopes, estimates, and cost control - Report to Engineering & Maintenance Manager any information that may impede the operation of the plant as soon as it becomes known - Interface with non-exempt team members to transfer knowledge, skills, & expertise - Process optimization - Assist production areas with troubleshooting and other assistance as needed - Lead the mechanical maintenance organization, designing and im...
