Presales CAD Engineer

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES: - Reading and understanding RFP and tender documents - Reading and understanding customer requirements provided by SA and sales team - Concept design of data center architecture and equipment - Understanding of relevant architectural and structural codes and standards - CAD Modeling - Understanding passive fire protection design and requirements - Coordination with other technical disciplines (HVAC, electrical, controls, fire protection) - Dimensioning and specification of structural and architectural parts of the modular building - Technical project coordination with customers and suppliers - Communication with customers in order to propose the best solution - Making technical proposals for Vertiv modular solutions data centers - Providing design documents - Problem solving and interpretation of customer requirements in proposed solutions - Support SA and sales team - Solution-based thinking that will incorporate a multitude of Structural and Mechanical components to an end-customer deployment QUALIFICATIONS: OUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
