At NorthBay Health, the Occupational Therapist II functions as an independent clinician, providing comprehensive occupational therapy services in the outpatient setting with advanced reasoning. The Occupational Therapist II can be a resource to entry-level staff , provides clinical oversight of Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA), contributes to program development, and ensures high-quality patient care consistent with departmental and regulatory standards. Primary Job Duties: Provides outpatient occupational therapy services during assigned shifts, including occasional weekend or holiday coverage as required. Performs initial evaluations, periodic re-evaluations, and update treatment plans/goals in collaboration with physicians as appropriate. Delivers evidence-based interventions tailored to the patient’s diagnosis, learning needs, and age. Maintains accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards.
