Description Fervo is working to build the most cost-effective, repeatable geothermal power plants in the world. Delivering on this mission requires deep subsurface understanding, disciplined execution in the field, and continuous learning across the full project lifecycle. Joining Fervo’s Subsurface organization means operating at the intersection of geology, engineering, and real-world execution where data-driven decisions directly shape development outcomes. The Exploration Geologist will support Fervo Energy’s geological modeling workstream to achieve our geothermal energy development goals. This position will play a key role in evaluating resource opportunities and executing exploration activities across Fervo’s growing project portfolio. Responsibilities will include working with geophysical and geological datasets to build three-dimensional conceptual models of geothermal reservoirs, developing geothermal play concepts in new basins, acreage evaluation and prospect ranking, and developing Fervo’s exploration strategy.
