Key Responsibilities of Line Cook ● Prep Line for service ● Assemble dishes as the order comes in ● Maintain Line clean and organized ● Communicate with Chef for any assistance needed or help ● Communicate with servers for proper dining experience ● Clean, organize kitchen at the end of the night. Skills and Abilities of Line Cook ● Attention to detail ● Knowledge of menu and menu items ● Ability to focus in high pace environments ● Ability to take direction and criticism for the better ● To be able to understand cooking temperatures ● Understand very well health department basics Physical Requirements & Working Conditions: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. ● Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, climb, walk, and stand for long durations of time. ● Ability to move and lift equipment and supplies of up to 50 pounds. ● Vision abilities include close, distance, color peripheral, and depth perception. ● The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
