At Corbion, we exist to champion preservation in all its forms, preserving food and food production, health, and our planet. The Corbion facility based in Blair, Nebraska is expanding our engineering team to include two Process Engineers reporting to the Engineering & Technology Manager. Level of each position will be based on candidate experience and qualifications. These engineers are responsible for engineering efforts in both the lactic acid and lactates plants, continuous improvement campaigns, and helping to manage process safety initiatives. Qualifications : - Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering (or comparable engineering degree). - 5+ years of experience (for a Process Engineer role) and 10+ years of experience (for a Senior Process Engineer role) in a comparable role, lactic acid preferred - Understanding of common industrial manufacturing equipment and their applications. - Working knowledge of food safety standards and good manufacturing practices (GMP) preferred. - Proven experience applying engineering practices toward feasible solutions. - Experience using root cause analysis and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies. - Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced, team...
