Job Title: Outreach Ambassador Pay Range: $21.00 to $21.00 per hour (Weekly Pay & Pay Advance Before Pay Day!) Shift/Schedule: Background or Coursework in Social Work/Psychology/Criminal Justice PREFERRED - Mon. - Fri. from 12:00pm to 3:00pm Who We Are: At Block by Block, we employ Ambassadors to make public spaces better by making them friendlier, safer, and cleaner for the communities we serve. What You'll Be Doing: - Frequently canvass the zone to interact and seek out the homeless/unhoused on the streets to build relationships of trust with a "compassion first" approach. - Direct those in public spaces to services or more suitable locations. - Have a strong understanding of the variety of social services available to persons in need within their community, and suggest the right services to those who are ready to help themselves.
