Job DetailsJob Location: 213 West 35th St SCIF Clinic - New York, NY 10001Education Level: 4 Year DegreeSalary Range: $20.50 - $20.50 HourlyJOB SCOPE: Oversees day to day front desk operations of the clinic, scheduling, and billing. Provides excellent customer care. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Answers clinic phone line during business hours and makes reminder calls as needed Communicates with insurance companies in regards to referrals, prior authorizations and other insurance related issues Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends. Maintains office condition and requests repairs as needed Provides general support to the clinical staff Under the guidance of front desk supervisor manages clinicians’ and prescribers’ schedules. Covers front desk as needed Takes clients’ referral information, triages urgency of the appointment, verifies insurance Runs and distributes reports as assigned by an administrator and clinic supervisor.
