Maintenance Mechanic

Job description

The maintenance mechanic supports production efficiencies by ensuring repair and preventive maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment and plant facilities. Opportunities exists for advanced training in manufacturing maintenance: thermography, vibration analysis, ultrasound, precision alignment. Qualifications: - Respond to urgent problems with equipment or facilities. - Execute assigned work orders of installing new equipment, repair/replace malfunctioning components, or preventive maintenance activities. - Document tasks by filling out forms. - Troubleshoot equipment failures. - Interact with production personnel to diagnose issues with the ability to decide course of action. - Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations. - High School diploma or GED and completion of formal certified training program with completion certificates and a minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting. - Able to read and interpret procedures to execute work tasks. - Understanding of basic OSHA safety standards for general industry. - Mechanical aptitude: using tools and measuring devices, basic understanding of piping, rotating parts, pneumatic. hydraulic syste...
