Department: 02408 GCMG Ortho COSA: Rock Hill - Surgery: Orthopedics Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Will require supporting all 3 locations which would involve travel. Pay Range: $19.80 - $31.20 EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Experience in a healthcare setting or as a Unit Secretary preferred. LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: N/A ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Reviews and documents patient identification, and places armbands on patients arriving for care. 2. Uses effective communication skills when interacting with patients, visitors, co-workers, management and physicians. Uses effective communication skills and strict patient identifiers when directing information and communications. 3. Maintains compliance with HIPPA regulations, CMS regulation and Medicare/Medicaid regulations as the regulations pertain to the registration process and information flow to the multi-disciplinary team and to the public. 4.
