Job Description Summary The HV Equipment Engineer Engineer will play a critical role in providing expert technical support for GE Vernova FACTS. This position requires a highly technical, customer-focused, and self-motivated individual. As a key member of this world-class team, the HV Equipment Engineer will lead the project engineering for FACTS Solutions. The HV Project Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing systems for our Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS), ensuring optimal performance and reliability Job Description: Essential Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical equipment design for FACTS devices, including Fixed Series Capacitors, Blocking Filters and Synchronous Condensers. Develop equipment studies, equipment specifications, issue material purchase requests, and evaluate vendor quotations for FACTS equipment including capacitors, arresters, reactors, rotating equipment, high voltage circuit breakers, power transformers, high voltage cable, and protection and control systems.
