Description SUMMARY: The Family Support Specialist assists Child Welfare Case Managers in the provision of services to families. This role facilitates and observes parent/child and sibling visitations and provides transportation for clients (primarily children, ages 0 to18) to medical, dental, and clinical appointments. The Family Support Specialist aids in the prevention of child abuse and neglect in at risk families by providing appropriate modeling techniques, education, and other supportive services.
