Operations Manager

Job description

Position Summary The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of warehouse and logistics operations within a third-party logistics (3PL) environment. This role oversees multiple functional areas, ensures operational excellence, and drives performance against key metrics including safety, service, quality, and cost. The Operations Manager partners closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently achieved while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee daily warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, inventory control, and value-added services Manage, develop, and mentor a team of supervisors and warehouse personnel to achieve operational goals Ensure consistent execution of client requirements and adherence to SLAs and KPIs Drive operational performance through data analysis, reporting, and process optimization Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost control Collaborate directly with customers to maintain strong relationships, address concerns, and identify growth opportunities Oversee workforce planning, l...
