Essential Functions Below outlines the main areas of transaction processing responsibility: Assisting clients with Operational Tax reporting. Preparing payments and analyzing tax issues. Qualifications: Life and Annuity insurance industry knowledge - Assisting clients with their financial tax statements - Responsible for overseeing various tax regulatory requirements for life and annuity insurance products. - Preparing and submitting tax forms. - Prepare quarterly, annual, and monthly withholding reconciliation - File state withholding tax returns - Work with IRS and state agencies to resolve issues or address penalties. - Developing operational policies and controls to ensure tax reporting compliance - Oversee and monitor operating guidelines of third party administrators with regards to policyholder tax administration and reporting. - Make federal and state withholding deposits. - Handle various tax projects. - Prepare and Assist with reconciliation of tax accounts. - Assist with various state,and federal tax audits - Adhere to Life and Annuity Tax regulatory guidelines.
