OVERVIEW: The University of St. Thomas Criminal Justice Program within the Department of Justice & Society Studies invites applications for adjunct faculty members to teach one or more Criminal Justice courses. Adjunct appointments are without tenure and are not tenure-track appointments. This posting is for a pooled, adjunct faculty position for continuous recruitment. Review of candidates is typically done on an annual basis during the month of January. This position is campus‑based and requires the ability to deliver classroom instruction in person. The salary range for the College of Arts and Sciences Adjunct positions ranges from $5,994 to $6,717 (per 4 credit undergraduate course, 3 credit graduate course). Rate of pay is determined by academic credential and years of teaching experience. We welcome candidates who could teach one or more of the following courses: Introduction to Criminal Justice, Crime & Delinquency, Police Operations, Criminal Law & Procedure, and Critical Issues in Corrections.
