Details: This is a full-time, evening position. The hours for this position are 12:00pm until 8:30pm. Team member will be required to work rotating weekends and holidays. This position is eligible for shift pay differentials. Location: Methodist Hospital: Position Summary: Performs supervised tasks related to the preparation of food. Meal preparations include regular and therapeutic diets. Utilizes foundational skills of basic cooking techniques, operates kitchen equipment and maintains a clean and organized work space. Position Requirements: With 15 hospitals, including seven with Magnet designation and eight with Pathways to Excellence designation, our team members are leading the way through excellence. - High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred. - No experience is required. Prior food service experience is preferred. - Requires the ability to operate kitchen equipment. - Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc. - Requires adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption. - R...
