Bishop Walsh School in Cumberland, Maryland , is seeking a qualified full‑time English Language Arts Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic year. The Middle School English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher would be responsible for all curriculum instruction for grades 6-8. The ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students is imperative. The teacher also should be knowledgeable regarding technology integration in lessons. Essential Functions: - Provide grade appropriate instructional program for students that adheres to the school's philosophy, goals, and objectives. - Maintains an attractive, organized, and engaging learning environment. - Develop lesson plans with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocese of Baltimore and State of MD Standards. - Maintains accurate and complete records of students' progress and development. - Provides regular and consistent communication with parents, students, staff, and administration. - Maintain confidentiality regarding students, their families, and other employees outside the school. - Perform additional duties when needed for the supervision of students before, during, or after school. - Participates in faculty meeting, sc...
