Provides for the direct and indirect patient care and oversees the clinical flow of patients of the department/departments assigned. Coordinates all clinical support for the patients, families, physician and support staff. Participates in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of departmental growth and enhancements. Provides leadership, resource abilities and advanced knowledge and skill to the department/departments assigned. Plans, develops and organizes the activities of the staff, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of quality health care.
