Position : Applications Architect Location: Alexandria, VA Work Environment: Hybrid Clearance Required: Secret Status: Contingent Upon Contract Award Knowesis, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Applications Architect to support the Department of Defense (DoD), Office of Inspector General (OIG), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This key technical role will lead the analysis, design, and governance of enterprise application architecture, ensuring alignment with mission objectives, modernization goals, and federal compliance frameworks. The Applications Architect will serve as a strategic advisor and hands-on contributor, responsible for evaluating existing systems, recommending improvements, and guiding the development of scalable, secure, and interoperable application solutions. This role requires deep expertise in architectural modeling, system integration, and cross-functional collaboration across technical and business domains. The DoD OIG mission is to detect and deter fraud, waste, and abuse in DoD programs and operations; promote the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of the DoD; and help ensure ethical conduct throughout the DoD.
