Description The English Department is now accepting applications for Part Time Lecturers for the 2025-2026 academic year. These positions are non-tenure eligible with a 9-month service period (September 16 – June 15) and an anticipated start date of September 16, 2025. Appointments are determined by program need, available funding, and the eligible pool of candidates. We will assemble a pool of qualified candidates now and anticipate making offers as soon as possible. After initial offers are made in the spring and/or summer, additional hires, quarters and courses may be added depending on available funding. Duties: The duties will include teaching courses in the Program in Writing & Rhetoric (PWR), the Program for Writing Across Campus (PWAC), upper division English literature and language courses, and/or creative writing courses. Salary: The appointment will be at 50% FTE of the full-time rate. The full-time base salary range for this position will be $6,583 - $7,241 per month, prorated based on the appointment FTE, and commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.
