Facilities Project Manager I

We are searching for a Facilities Project Manager I -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will assist departments in developing estimates and budgets for proposed facility upgrades, changes, reconfigurations and renovations and to plan and manage the outcomes of operationally funded requests for Texas Children's. Job Duties & Responsibilities: - Leads project management process through pre-design, funding, design, pricing/purchasing, construction, occupancy, and closeout steps. - Develops project scope based on customer needs consistent with the standards and objectives. - Develops project budget utilizing departmental tools to assist customers in identifying and obtaining funding. - Procures external resources to assist with project scope design. - Manages internal and external resources to assist in planning, designing, and documenting project design by customer needs, facility standards, and regulatory requirements. - Manages internal and external relationships through effective communication. - Listens, understands and clarifies the needs of customers.
