Job Summary: Supports Solid Fuel-Fired Power Plant activities related to the chemistry laboratory, water treatment facilities and ensures environmental compliance relative to local, state and federal environmental regulations. Specifically, the employee is involved with sample collection, testing, monitoring and reporting functions to appropriate entities. Job Description: Key Accountabilities: Perform and interpret chemical analysis of substances to determine their chemical properties Assist in developing, evaluating, maintaining, and executing new and established procedures or requirements and standard operating procedures Collect, prepare, and analyze samples to determine appropriate analysis and methodology Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate lab instrumentation Verify, interpret and/or approve data and prepare reports Comply with applicable regulatory permits, standard policies, codes, regulations, etc. Assist in the development and implementation of l...
