Description: Job Summary: Responsible for accepting incoming referral information via multimedia and working directly with bed management and direct care nursing to coordinate inpatient bed assignments (particularly critically ill) for patients at Emory Healthcare. Coordinates, prioritizes, and optimizes patient flow using knowledge of clinical and operational activities throughout the hospital network. Collect clinical information to determine patient's level of care while collaborating with providers to arrange acceptance by the attending EHC physician to the most appropriate EHC hospital.
