Registered Nurse – Internal Travel Team – ED

Job description

The registered nurse (RN) in the Internal Travel Team at Mayo Clinic will rotate across Mayo Clinic sites in Arizona, Florida, Minnesota and Wisconsin as determined by patient care needs. Our ED RNs support our Emergency Department settings across our MCHS hospitals in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Duties include assessing, triaging, and treating patients of all ages that come through the hospital doors. This position requires a commitment to patient safety/satisfaction as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a wide array of other healthcare professionals. Our MCHS EDs range from level I to level IV trauma centers, so the exact role that the Internal Travel Team ED RN performs from site to site can vary based on patient demand, resource availability, and facility practices. The registered nurse (RN) is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care.
