Material Assistant, 2nd shift

Experience preferred, however we will train the right person. This is a 2nd shift position with a 4-day (10 hours/day) workweek from Monday thru Thursday, 4pm -2:30am. Recent base wage increase is ultra-competitive, and there's an additional $1/hour shift differential for this 2nd shift role. Summary: Responsible for ensuring raw materials are accurately supplied to mattress production lines using FIFO methodology while maintaining proper inventory controls. Collaborates closely with material handlers and production line leaders to support a consistent, uninterrupted flow of materials and meet production requirements efficiently Role and Responsibilities: - Enter customer weekly releases into SAP - Create all customer pulls on a daily basis - Create and maintain ship schedule daily - Distribute all customer orders to scheduling and shipping daily - Filing of all shipping documents - Assist customer service with customer e-mails to obtain information on releases and pulls and customer freight information, etc. - Reviewing sales orders with CSRs to determine carryovers, past dues to customer - Reviewing open order and open delivery reports to close orders with minimal quantities (1 t...
