Facilities Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)

Job description

Description Primary Duties to include but not limited to: · Perform maintenance in all facility areas including electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC systems · Light maintenance and repairs of fleet vehicles to include cars, vans, trucks, lifts, floor machines, tractors, etc. · Perform landscaping and snow removal. · Operate forklifts to support the material handling of used cardboard, pallets, and other recyclables. · Operate scissor lift and boom lifts. Work at ceiling heights running facility cabling, wiring and camera installations. · Perform daily walk through’s looking for anything broken or safety related/ reporting issues. · Operate and test facility generators and fire pumps on a weekly basis. · Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Yearly inspection of building systems. Emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, fire systems and any systems as directed by Facilities Supervisor. · Clean and maintain all Schluter facility areas including restrooms and outdoor areas as directed by Facilities Supervisor as required.
