Light Truck Driver

Job description

Audubon is currently seeking a Light Truck Driver to join our team in our Offsite Office. The Light Truck Driver will operate vehicles under 26000lb such as delivery vans, pickup trucks or box trucks to transport materials and equipment. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Prior training and/or experience with similar commercial equipment preferred - Experience driving flat-beds, RGN/lowboy, dovetail trailers - Ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and vehicle at job sites - Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate machines. - Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and falling objects. - Move heavy equipment to load and unload a haul trailer for transport. - May service and make necessary adjustments for proper operation of equipment. - Make necessary adjustment to equipment as needed.
