Envision Imaging of North Arlington is adding a Part-Time Ultrasound Technologist to the team! Fridays 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / Saturdays 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM | Position Pay Range $40.75 - $52.54 Summary/Objective: Performs ultrasound procedures to adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. Assists radiologists during specialized exams to obtain images at a satisfactory level with minimal supervision. Essential Functions: 1. Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image. 2. Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc. 3. Performs ultrasound scans and prints images while attending to patient’s care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient’s condition changes at any time. 4. Assists Radiologist on specialized exams. 5. Transfers images to other locations as needed. 6. Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist. 7.
