Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Work Shift: Days (United States of America) Job Description: SUMMARY: Provides home visitation services, through the Help Me Grow Home Visiting Program in Allen County, to expectant moms and families with young children that cultivate and strengthen nurturing parent-child relationships, promote healthy childhood growth and development, and enhance family functioning by reducing risk and building protective factors. FUNCTIONS: Provides culturally sensitive home visitation services for families that promote positive parent-child interaction, child developmental skills, and healthy and safety practices through the use of curriculum and other educational materials in accordance with best practices model standards. Provides information, referrals, and linkages to available community resources. Links families to a medical provider to assure optimal health and development.
