Able to maintain a state issued driver’s license. Required to train and receive certification for all the assigned fire apparatus located at Vance AFB and Kegelmen Airfield. Timeframe for certification will be determined by the Fire Chief. Must be certified as a Fire Officer I to drive and/or operate the P-18 and P-26. May be temporarily assigned as Lead Firefighter if properly trained and certified. Assist in training and directing personnel in the knowledge and skills necessary to qualify for future vacancies. Maintain all fire suppression, rescue and EMS related skills required of a firefighter and may perform those related skill/task when directed.
