Topics include reasons for trade, domestic and international trade policies, international finance, exchange rates, open economy macroeconomics, and maintaining international financial and macroeconomic stability. The role of international institutions will be discussed – the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Trade Organization (WTO) – as well as their history and proposals for reform.
