Description POSITION TITLE: Controller: PROGRAM: Administration - San Luis Obispo POSITION SUMMARY: The Controller reports to the Finance Director and will manage the day-to-day operations in the Finance Department using a trauma informed approach. The Controller will supervise general ledger accounting, including payroll, accounts payable, billing and accounts receivable, and reconciliation of all accounts and expenses. This role requires someone who can maintain the agency’s compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, laws and regulations, and loan covenants, as well as the provisions of our contracts, grants, and contributions. The Controller will manage month-end close and billing and will create financial statements for budget monitoring. In concert with the Finance Director, the Controller will oversee and implement sound business and administrative operations for the entire agency. The Controller upholds and promotes the agency philosophy in all duties performed. HOURS /SALARY: Full-time, exempt position. Anticipated hiring range is $93,766-$107,000 annually.
