Employment Type: Part time Shift: Description: POSITION PURPOSE Contributes to the delivery of patient-centered care through the effective implementation of specific aspects of the nursing process considering age specific, maturational, cultural and spiritual needs. The care rendered to assigned patients is congruent with the education and licensure of the LPN and is under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Demonstrates unit/area designated competencies. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Performs specific nursing interventions as delegated by the Registered Nurse in an effort to identify and attain treatment goals. 2. Obtains necessary clinical data from patient, family, or significant other. 3. Uses interdisciplinary plan of care as the framework for care rendered (including the administration of medications). 4.
