Plans, develops, and coordinates public relation programs with the media, private and public sector organizations and churches ensuring that The Salvation Army maintains a favorable and positive image in the communities and for both internal and external audiences. Serves as liaison to all media ensuring the desired message is communicated; photographs and writes articles covering Salvation Army events; strengthens communication with donors, prospective donors, corporations, volunteers, media personnel, civic club leadership and local government leadership.
