Job description

Overview: The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all inventory control operations within a 400,000 sq. ft. parts distribution center. This role ensures inventory accuracy, cycle count compliance, root cause analysis for discrepancies, and supports all inbound, outbound, and storage functions to optimize accuracy, efficiency, and service levels. The manager will lead a team of inventory control specialists and work cross-functionally with operations, procurement, IT, and customer service teams. Responsibilities: Miscellaneous: - Develop, implement, and oversee inventory control procedures to maintain 99.9% inventory accuracy in a high-volume warehouse environment. - Supervise daily activities of the inventory control team including cycle counts, recounts, audits, and inventory adjustments. - Analyze inventory discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. - Coordinate closely with Receiving, Picking, and Shipping teams to monitor product flow and resolve variances in real-time. - Maintain system integrity in WMS (Warehouse Management System) including locations, item masters, and lot tracking. - D...
