Description The Department of Computer Science at Georgetown University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin in August 2026. We are looking for candidates whose work focuses on the broader area of Theory of Computing which includes complexity theory, algorithms, quantum computing, cryptography, differential privacy, algorithmic game theory, and theory of machine learning. We seek candidates who will establish an outstanding research track, excel in teaching and mentoring in both the graduate and undergraduate level, and will contribute to the intellectual life at the department and the university.
