Float Phlebotomist

Job description

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to work in Muncie, IN and surrounding cities . Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 7:00PM work hours will vary with Saturday rotation (every 4-6 weeks) Job Responsibilities: - Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups - Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. - Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner - Process billing information and collect payments when required - Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis - Maintain patient and specimen information logs - Provide superior customer service to all patients - Administrative and clerical duties as necessary - Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: - Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist Additional Job Standards: Float Incentive: Additional $2.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
