Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an Admissions Coordinator: - Obtains referrals from hospital social workers, physicians, or family members keeping wait lists current. - Functions as the Health Center public relations person, providing tours of the facility and pertinent information regarding admissions as well as occasional off-site visits to hospitals and doctor’s offices. - Conducts admission interviews with the resident and/or responsible party, obtaining all required financial data, signatures, pertinent social information and medical information, attending physician information, and other pertinent and required documentation prior to admission. - Reviews all admission related paperwork with the resident and or/responsible party including Medicare Par...
