Job description

Overview The Assembler at Cook Vandergrift is responsible for following procedures for product assembly/fabrication, cleaning, packaging, labeling, equipment operation and safety requirements as documented in the company's quality system. Responsibilities: - Read, understand and follow specifications for product being manufactured - Fabricate raw materials into specified products using various mechanical and/or manual techniques - Perform various inspections and/or testing as required - Accurate completion of necessary documentation - Follow all quality system documents - Report to work punctually and as scheduled - Perform fine manipulative processes, using a microscope/micro forge, video screen, and/or other equipment for the majority of the day, seated and/or standing at a workstation - Perform work in a Controlled Environment with special gowning/clothing and hygiene requirements - Perform various computer functions - Perform routine maintenance on certain machinery used in production - Provide training of production personnel - Assist in introducing new or improved products into production - Provide input to supervisor/manager to improve department operation and efficiency - I...
