Your Opportunity: Stantec is seeking a highly motivated, ambitious, Traffic Engineer (PE). The position will offer the opportunity to work on small and large high-profile roadway and highway projects. You will perform a variety of tasks that will require the application of sound principles and best practices. Your Key Responsibilities: - Projects include traffic signal system design and re-timing, operational analysis, roadway capacity analysis, traffic safety studies, traffic signal, signing, and pavement marking and design, street lighting / illumination design, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS). - Prepare construction documents and cost estimates for City, County and State roadway and highway projects. - Perform complex engineering design tasks per Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT’s) design standards. - Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate the technical aspects of assigned projects. - Train developing staff on design and operational analysis software packages for traffic...
